Fleetwood and MBS Deliver NRL Premiers New Home Facilities

Fleetwood and MBS

Built within the Sydney Cricket Ground Trust area adjacent to Allianz Stadium, Fleetwood and MBS have recently delivered a new double storey facility consisting of 31 modules covering over 1500sqm for the Sydney Roosters.

Built at the back end of last year as one of the first projects constructed together since Fleetwood acquired MBS in mid-2018. The first-class facility was home to the Roosters in their run to back to back premierships this year and will be home to the Roosters for the next few years during the Allianz Stadium redevelopment scheduled to open in 2021.

The new complex consists of a reception, gym, doctor and physio rooms, ice bath rooms, lockers rooms, players’ lounge along with several other amenities and an office complex for staff. The fast and effective solution built offsite has allowed the club to move in seamlessly throughout the year with minimal disruption to the overall operations of the organisation.

An interesting fact about the build is that a large part of the ground floor is devoted to the player’s gymnasium, which is built on a concrete slab within the building envelope. Along with this the upper floor office area is serviced by both an internal staircase and a lift for easy access across the board.
