Overview

Fleetwood Australia was engaged by Discovery Parks to build, transport and install 32 modular tourism cabins at the Whyalla Foreshore in South Australia. The project included 30 standard units and 2 DDA-compliant units, enhancing the site’s visitor offering as part of a broader strategy to increase accommodation capacity in the region.

Using volumetric modular construction, 70% of the works were completed off-site, significantly reducing on-site disruption and accelerating delivery. The project was completed on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard—further reinforcing Whyalla’s position as a key destination on the Eyre Peninsula.

Fleetwood managed the build, transport and installation of the modular cabins, overseeing all stages of delivery to ensure quality, safety, and consistency. The cabins were constructed in a controlled factory environment before being transported and installed with minimal disruption to the community.
