Weekend Fire Relief Recovery

A devastating fire on October 4th, 2019 at Southport State High School on the Gold Coast saw Fleetwood rally around the local community to help the school get back on its feet as fast as possible. With a blaze gutting several classrooms on the Friday night, Fleetwood were part of a team working around the clock providing a range of portable classroom buildings to make sure students and teachers have a new place to call home for the start of term 4. The video has captured the enormity of the three-day ordeal that saw hundreds of helpers work day and night to install over 10 new buildings and who constantly were “meeting the challenge” when it mattered the most!
